Trachier Family Christmas

"Ho Ho Ho....Merry Christmas" That is Hunter's favorite saying of the month :)

This year we got to spend 4 days at my parents for Christmas. We got to see Auntie Em and baby McKenley, make Christmas cookies, go see Santa (again), see the whole family (including a special visit from Uncle Mike), looked at Christmas lights, open presents, and Clint and I even snuck away for a dinner together. It was wonderful!!

MiMi got proof that Lauran will lay on her tummy now. She still doesn't love it but she will tolerate it.

Hunter at the North Pole. I am guessing that silly grin is because it must be really cold in the North Pole.

Sweet baby girl

They must have been really good this year because they got to see Santa twice. Hunter asked Santa for candy and a toy. So sweet!

Hunter had a blast riding on the reindeer with Pops.

He even got tricky. Look Mom, only one hand. HaHa

As always Hunter had a blast with Uncle Lance. As soon as we got to MiMi andPop's house, Hunter asked "where Uncle Lance at?"

We bundled up to go see the Christmas lights on Main Street in Grapevine. Don't my snow bunnies look adorable?

MiMi and Pops showing Hunter all of the neat lights

Baby Lauran all bundled up. It was cold out there!

The cold didn't phase Hunter though....Look at that smile!

Thanks Uncle Lance for toting Hunter around. He is getting too heavy for Mommy...and he loves you THIS much!

Sweet angel baby driving around the car at MiMi's house.

And of course the Christmas trip to MiMi's isn't complete without the annual cookie decorating competition. From the looks of this face, you know who the winner was. :)

Ok, ok....Hunter was a real winner because he loved making cookies, he loved hanging out with Aunt B and he loved eating all of the icing and sprinkles...BUT....Uncle Lance won the competition....AGAIN!

Then Santa Claus came to town and we got to open all of the goodies he brought. O'ma and O'pa snuggled with Lauran as we opened presents.

Lauran got a rocking elephant that was so cute! Hunter showed her how it worked.

All the toys were a hit but Hunter especially loved his train set, his smoking thomas the train, his baby powpow gun, his riding motorcycle, and his brownie bear. (Yes those were his FAVORITES so that is safe to say he got a bunch more. You should have seen our truck on the way home!)

Lauran loved her Honey Bear that Uncle Mike gave her.

And Hunter loves Brownie Bear. Brownie gets left in all different rooms of our house because Hunter drags him everywhere. But the other night Hunter left him in the living room. Then when he woke in the morning Hunter said, "HEY -- Brownie is watching TV." HaHa

Uncle Lance had the magic touch and had Lauran giggling. This was only the second time I had ever heard her laugh like that and the first time Clint heard her. This baby girl loves her Uncle Lance and apparently thinks he is pretty funny!

Just laughing away

As always, it melts my heart to see my family enjoying my babies so much. They are so lucky to be loved by so many wonderful people. We had a very Merry Christmas!!
