Been a long time

First of all, SORRY! I know it has been a long time since I last blogged and I know I have to get caught up all the way back to Easter.....yikes! BUT we have been running and gunning doing tons of fun things with the family. Plus MiMi and I have been working hard to open our ETSY shop called MiMi's Magic 4 You (http://www.etsy.com/shop/MiMisMagic4You) so check it out when you get a chance. All of that is to say, I know I haven't blogged lately but I plan to get back in the swing of things.

Clint had a HUGE PROUD DADDY MOMENT yesterday and I thought I had to write it down in the blog before I forgot it....

The boys got a cookie snack before bath last night. As they were eating their cookies their conversation went like this:

Daddy: Hunter, what goes good with cookies? {hint hint....a glass of milk}
Hunter: FISHING!
Daddy: What?
Hunter: Fishing Daddy!
Daddy: Yes Hunter, Fishing goes great with everything! I love you boy!
Daddy: What about Hunting?
Hunter: Apples
Daddy: Apples go good with Hunting?
Hunter: YES SIR!
Daddy to Mommy: He did get bags of apples in the deer stand as a snack.

LOL! That boy is so cute and it is amazing the stuff he comes up with!

This is the reason why Hunter had fishing on his mind. The past two weeks the guys have gotten to go fishing a number of times on Lake Conroe and Lake of the Pines.

Cruising around Lake O' The Pines on vacation

A WHOPPER bass they caught on Lake Conroe

Showing off the bass Daddy and Hunter caught at Lake O' the Pines. The owner of the house said that was the biggest Bass he had ever seen caught there. Way to go Daddy!

The next day after catching the monster Bass, Daddy plucked this HUGE catfish (around 35lbs) on his rod and reel.

They all made for a great fish fry and tons of great memories. There is something so special about Daddy / Son time and I am thankful to be married to a man that enjoys that time as much as my son does!
