NO ICE REQUIRED!

It is that time of year again where we are prepping for our Walk to End Alzheimer's. It will be our 3rd year to walk and it is hard to believe that we have been without my Aunt for 4 years. Although she has physically been gone from us for that long, she was mentally taken from us years before from this awful disease.

Although it is the nations 6th leading cause of death, there is no cure, and it gets little attention in comparison to others.

I challenge you to help us find a cure - NO ICE BUCKET REQUIRED!! Whether you donate, research, post, bring awareness - whatever it may be...please help us fight this fight so my children never have to know what Alzheimer's can do!

If you want to know what your money goes to - 77% goes to research, care, support, help hotlines, awareness and advocacy.

This picture was from our first walk (2012). There are many colors of flowers that the walkers hold but purple means that we are walking "in memory of" a loved one. This picture to me sums up what this walk is all about. Something so pure about my little one proudly holding his flower as high as he can. If you feel moved to help us in our cause, please visit my team page here: Team Mary's Darlins
