Back Porch

For quite some time we have been wanting to add on to our back porch. The original back porch was a tiny little square slab with hardly enough room for Clint's grill and the dog. There was definitely no room for entertaining or relaxing on it. We have been wanting to do this for quite some time but never found the time to do it. Since Clint got an extended time at home for the baby, we decided that it was the right time to do it! We got contact information from the neighbor behind us who had just added on to their back porch and went for it. It is still a work in progress. We want to get different furniture that has an actual table and chairs so we can eat outside, and I want to get some large planters for some potted plants, but here are a few pictures of what it looks like now.

As if there was ever a question before...but Clint is definitely Ralph's son! While having this slab built, Clint manage to drum up conversation with the owner of the company. They spent HOURS sitting outside "supervising" (which really meant talking about hunting and fishing). Now Clint and Travis (yes they are on a first name basis now) have each other's cell phone numbers and plan on calling each other to go hunting and fishing. Just what Clint needed....another excuse to go hunting or fishing ;)
