Happy 4 Months!

Happy 4 months Hunter!! We love you!!

We took Hunter for his 4 month appointment and here are his stats:

Height: 25 inches - 50%
Weight: 15lb 13oz - 65%
Head: 17 inches - 75%

Things are starting to even out a little bit but he is still our chunky monkey!

Here was a 4 month picture on the way to the doctor. He looks so happy! (That is probably because I didn't tell him he was going to get shots!)

After the doctor's appointment....so sad.... Hunter - you may not believe me, but it really hurt me too!! I now totally believe my parents meant that when they said it!!

About Hunter:
- He found his tongue. I am having a hard time capturing a picture of him where he isn't playing with his tongue. He wakes up doing that! So funny!
- He also discovered his hands this month. He chews on them non-stop. We have been thinking for a few weeks now that he MUST be teething. Now I am beginning to believe he just likes the taste of his hands!
- He laughs....like REALLY laughs! It is so cute. I hate to admit it but I start to cry sometimes when he gets on a roll because it is just the sweetest sound! (Side note: I also now understand why my Mom is a sap about everything :) )
- He is rolling over again. He used to roll over but he stopped for about a month. Now you can't keep him on his tummy because he immediately rolls over. But he only rolls to his left.
- He is starting to grab at things more and more. When you hold him he will grab on to your shirt. If you hold a toy like a book or a rattle in front of him, he will grab it. And yes, he has also learned how to hold on to earrings, necklaces, and hair....so ladies beware because he hasn't really figured out how to let go yet!
- He moved on up to a size 3 diaper.
- For the Carter's brand of jammies he is wearing a size 6-9. The other brands he wears a size 6 (but is quickly outgrowing them).
- He still is a little cuddle bug, and I could sit and hold him forever!
- He slept through the night for almost 2 weeks straight, and then he got another ear infection. So we are working with him again to try to get him back on his old schedule of sleeping from 8-6.
- He gets spoiled at daycare. Every teacher that I have run into knows his name (which I am not sure if that means he is good or bad...hehe). And the two ladies that sit at the front desk frequently go snag Hunter and let him sit at the front desk with them like a big boy!
- He is going to start eating food now. The Dr. told us to start with yellow veggies, then fruits, then green veggies. Apparently yellow veggies are easy to digest, and they don't want you to start with fruits because they are sweet and then he won't want to eat any veggies. I will keep you updated, with pictures, when we try that!
- Oh - and he is the love of our lives!
