My baby turned 13 months when I was off getting a tan in Mexico. I am sure that MiMi and Pops spoiled him rotten and he didn't even notice we were gone. I can't believe all of the things Hunter can do now.
Hunter -
- Waves bye - for real now. Even when he sees me grab my purse, or Clint gather stuff up, he will start waving bye.
- He blows kisses, with the additional MWA sound.
- He makes the sign for 'more'....kind of. He has his own Hunter sign language version. Very cute and effective. MiMi taught him that when he was at her house.
- If you ask him where his belly is he lift his shirt up and laughs. Of course he expects you to tickle or kiss his tummy which is fun for everyone.
- Still no actual words but he follows directions very well. He even took his pacifier to the TV one morning because there was a baby on there and I told him only babies needs pacis. ;)
- He is still a little copy cat and it is just precious! (I may not be saying that later when he picks up all of our bad habits)
- He climbs on EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING!!
- He is all boy and loves to throw anything including balls, phones, toys, cups, anything and everything. I must say though, he has a nice arm!
- He learned to shoot hoops in his big boy goal outside. He reaches up and grabs the rim with one hand and slams the ball in with the other. Then he claps for himself. LOVE IT!
- He still loves bed time because he loves his bath, loves to brush his teeth, loves picking out and reading books, and he loves his snuggle time with Daddy.
- Hunter is down to 1 night time bottle and we plan to take that one away this week. Admittedly I think he would do fine but we haven't gotten rid of it because it is easier on us.
- He got to spend a week at MiMi's and Pop's house for his first ever trip away from Mom and Dad. He loved every minute of it.
- He got a horrible virus called hand, foot, and mouth disease that causes sores all in his mouth and throat.
- And Hunter LOVES anything water. That includes the bath, the hose, running water in the sink, the water in the dog's bowl, etc.
I am truly amazed at how fast he learns and how fast he is growing up.
At his appointment for the virus he weighed 23lbs 10ounces. Not sure how accurate that was since he was practically jumping off the scale back into my arms. He has caught on to what happens at the doctors office :( and never wants to leave my arms. In fact, there for a while he had to have blood drawn every time we went, so now when the nurses walk in he automatically starts crying! So sad, but smart!
