Big Boy Class

Well it is official.....my baby boy has moved up in the big boy class (12-18m). He now has to wear shoes all day long, take naps on the floor (on a mat), and only gets one nap a day. I was hesitant because I did not know how he would handle the naps, but I was glad to see him move up because I think he was getting bored in his class. Have 10wk old babies and 12 month olds in the same room is a huge gap and obviously the little babies demand the most attention.

The teachers in his class said he did great! The only time he got fussy was around 10:30 which was his old morning nap time. He took a nap on the mat like a big boy with no issues. The bad news is he got beat up by a bully on the first day. I got an incident report phone call saying a kid in his class scratched Hunter's face. When I picked Hunter up, I asked him if he was being mean to the other kid. The teacher said, oh no, you don't have to do anything to this particular kid to have him do something to you. Great....one of those kids ;) I am not too worried about it....Hunter is pretty feisty!

We came home from school and had spaghetti. Hunter ate pretty well but was just too tired to eat anymore. I guess that first day in the big kid class wore him out. What do you think?

He then took about 1.5 hr nap. I took him outside to try to wake him up. Then he played for a little while, got cleaned up, got his jammies on and went to bed. He slept through the night like a little angel. We are so proud of our little man!

Next major step on the agenda is a week long (5 nights) vacation at MiMi and Pop's house. I am really sad about leaving him, but I know he is going to have a great time!!! We love you so much Hunter!!
