Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

Last weekend, cousin Luke and Reese were in town visiting Grammie & PawPaw, so we decided to take the boys to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. If you have never been, or have kids that love animals, I would strongly suggest that you take them! Luke and Hunter had a blast!!

Hunter loved the petting zoo. He would get up close and personal with the animals, but wasn't too sure about letting them eat out of his hand. He let Daddy feed the animals!

Uncle Shawn and Luke having fun feeding the animals too

Luke did not care for these animals....haha!

Hunter (and Mommy) loved the cute baby goat!

And the sheep too :)

The boys patiently waiting their turn for the pony ride

Love my boys! Notice Hunter is wearing his camo hat because Daddy was wearing his :)

"Hey - that's my Mommy"

Video of the boys during their pony ride:

Hunter DID NOT want to get off the pony. He cried, and said, "Mommy....mine" (pointing to the ponies). Clint had to distract him by taking him to see more animals.

Luke telling Big Clint some crazy story about the pig (or vice versa...who knows!)

Touching the pig's nose

We had a great time walking around and looking at all of the animals. Hunter loved finding all of the babies, which made Mommy happy because that is my favorite too! We even had a close encounter with a longhorn.

Move it or loose it

And you can't end the trip much better than with a tractor siting :)

All in all it was a great day at the rodeo. Hopefully we can take the boys and then other kids for many more years to come!
