Well....a guy hit his ball into the water and they kept showing an alligator that was close to the guy's golf ball. Hunter was amazed by that so him and Clint kept talking about the gator in the water. Somehow, Hunter was convinced that this gator in the water live in a "hole" under our tv. For the next couple of days Hunter would tip toe up to any of this toys that approached our tv. He would have Clint and I check for the gators and tell us how there are gators in the hole under our tv (in the media stand). Clint tried to explain to him that there were no gators under our tv and that gators only live in water.
Wouldn't you know....that night Clint goes to put Hunter in his bath tub and Hunter starts whining. We asked him what was wrong and he said "gators in water." We couldn't help but laugh, and then tried to convince him that there were NO gators in his bath water.
My Mom reads a book to Hunter that he loves called "NO Elephants" (or at least that is what we call it). The lady accepts pets into her home but says "but, no elephants." I have now started saying "No Gators" in attempt to convince Hunter that Mommy would not let gators live anywhere in our house.
Love the imagination this boy has and I look forward to many many more of these learning conversations! :)
