I can't believe she is so big already....so let's back up to some of the posts I missed.
9 Months:
- At 9 months Lauran has mastered crawling and is ALL over the place now. In fact, that was the best picture I could get of her because she just wouldn't sit still.
- She has two teeth on the bottom and is starting to work on the top teeth.
- She is in size 3 diapers and size 9 month clothes - starting to inch towards the 12 month clothes
- She got tubes in her ears and has been pretty healthy since then
- A week after she got tubes in her ears she said "mama", "dada", "bubba", and "bye bye"
- She is still sleeping wonderfully through the night. Makes Mommy and Daddy very happy!
- Now that she can crawl she follows Bubba around everywhere and thinks it is so funny when Hunter does anything with her (talks to her, touches her, talks to her, anything)
9 month stats:
Height: 27" (30%)
Weight: 18lb 10oz (45%)
Head: 17" (26%)
10 months:
- Lauran has been desperately chewing on anything and everything in site trying to cut some teeth on the top. She now has 3 that cut through on the top and is working on a 4th. I love her sweet toothy grin! Her favorite toy to chew on is a "pizza cutter" from Hunter's new play kitchen. Even Hunter knows it is her favorite and will bring it to her when she is fussy!
- She is in Mommy mode, always attached to my side. If I even think about putting her down she starts crying. She has started a new thing where when I put her down she gets so sad she just sits down and then puts her head flat down between her legs and cries. It is equal amounts of pathetic and cute.
- She has started eating big people food. Her favorite is Bananas!! She loves sharing with Hunter. She has also started eating puffs and yogurt and other soft items like mashed potatoes and bread. For those of you that know her, this is a big accomplishment as she used to get the shivers every time she tried to swallow something. HaHa!
Yummy Banana
Finger lickin' good
- She "walks" everywhere that she can hold on to something and is starting to lean from one item to another.
- She stood up for the first time two days ago. All by herself with no support. When she realized she wasn't holding anything she eased back down. I don't think it will be long before she starts walking. When standing up she is very cautious, but when crawling she will try to fit herself in any small spot possible.
Crawling through the bottom of the chair....just because she can.
- She is tender hearted like her brother but she pushes her limits a little further than her brother. Daddy thinks she is going to be a little bit tougher than Bub when she gets older. She is cute and she knows it. Can you tell?
