Oops...

A few nights ago I guess I was a little bit sleepier than I thought. I took Hunter in his room to change his diaper. We were still having to doctor his circumcision every time we change his diaper but the doctor said we no longer needed to use gauze. So I undid Hunter's diaper and was thinking about the best way to put the medicine on him. Apparently the wheels were turning slowly. I heard a noise that caused me to look back at the diaper and realized there was a steady stream flowing from his diaper. It took me a few more second to realize he was peeing......on his face. Fortunately it was to the side so it got his chest and ear and hair. If it had been a little to the left he would have gotten his nose and mouth! By the time I realized what was happening and covered him back up, the damage was done! So I got to change his diaper, outfit, socks, changing pad cover, and wash him off. Fun night for Mom. Lesson learned....if you have to think about anything, do so while the diaper is still closed!
