Well Dooms Day arrived....I had to go back to work :( The first day was actually the easiest! Clint took off of work so he could take the night shift for me, and then he kept Hunter at the house for a few hours in the morning. Then he took Hunter over to Grammie's house for the rest of the day. Meanwhile I got thrown into the fire at work and was so busy I didn't have much time to realize how much I was missing Hunter.
Day 2 was a TOTALLY different story. Number 1: Daddy didn't have the night shift. Number 2: (and the worst part) Mommy had to drop Hunter off. The way our schedules work it just makes sense for me to take Hunter in the mornings and for Clint to pick Hunter up in the afternoon. After I dropped Hunter off the first morning I called Clint bawling asking him if there was any way to switch that arrangement. Even though I knew I was leaving him in great hands it broke my heart to leave him! That was the first time I had been away from him for more than 3 hours. I was an emotional wreck the whole day (ask either Clint or my Mom...they will verify!). I was hoping that each day would get a little bit easier and while I was not a complete wreck the rest of the week I definitely cried every morning!!!
But all in all we survived our first week. Hunter had been sleeping through the night but I think all of these changes have rocked his world too. He is now back to getting up at 2:30 and again at 5:30. Needless to say Mommy and Daddy are TiReD! But one sweet smile from our baby boy and it reminds us that he is worth it all!
Aren't my boys handsome?

You poor thing. I remember the heartbreak of going back to work but I promise it does get better. The first month I was back after having Matthew my co-workers were BEGGING me to quit and be a full time mom. ha!
