First Day at Daycare

Well, the first day of Daycare came much sooner than I was ready for. Due to a family emergency, Grammie could no longer watch Hunter. That either meant that I got to quit work, or Hunter had to go to Daycare....haha....like it was ever an option. So Tuesday was Hunter's first day at Daycare. And I just *thought* dropping him off at Grammie's was hard. Yes, there were tears!!!! The ladies at the daycare were so sweet and kept trying to let me know I could call or stop by any time I wanted. I was really wanting them to just let me get out of the door so the flood could start. They probably thought I was a little bit rude....but I am sure they are used to deal with "first timers."

But you should be proud....I only called once during the day to check on Hunter. The lady that answered told me that Hunter was a doll and they were just eating him up in there. She said that he was swinging away and that he was a beautiful baby! She said he seemed to be doing great. (They probably tell that to all of the "first-time" Moms that call up there all freaked out, but at least it made me feel good!)

When Hunter got home he had a sheet that told us how he did that day. For his mood, they marked that he was Happy in the morning, Happy mid-day, and Happy in the afternoon. Yay for a HAPPY BABY!! They also read the book called Brothers and Sisters, and sang Wheels on the Bus.

But the BEST part is when Daddy brought him home - he was all smiles!! Hope every day goes that well!!

This is what Hunter wore on his first day. His "School of Cool" fishy outfit :) Doesn't he just look thrilled?
