Clint and Ralph have fished two fishing tournaments on Lake Conroe this year and have done very well in both of them. The first fishing tournament was hosted at Papa's Icehouse. Ralph caught a bass that weighed 5.37 and placed 2nd in the 9-10 hour.

We came out to support the guys but Hunter just had too much fun and crashed even with the loud music, annoucements, and crazy people by us!

The second bass tournament started April 2nd out of April Plaza on Lake Conroe. We got a surprisingly good call early in the morning that Clint had caught a good fish. The guys asked us to go to the weigh-in to see what size fish were being weighed in. We hurried to feed Hunter breakfast and ran up to the weigh-in station (which is why Hunter is in his pajamas). We made to the weigh-in station just in time to see Clint weigh his fish in.

YAY! Daddy got second place of the hour with a 5.15lb fish!
PawPaw also caught a winning fish the next day, but he didn't call us to come up there so we have no pictures.
You might ask "how do these guys always manage to catch good fish?" Well, the answer is simple....they have help picking out their lures ;)
AND....they have a good luck charm!
Look at the whopper PawPaw caught...too bad this wasn't in a tournament. Keep your fingers crossed one of the guys catches one that size this weekend....they are headed to Sam Rayburn for their "big" bass tournament. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!
