Happy Real Birthday

On Hunter's actual birthday we gave him his big birthday present, an outdoor slide and basketball goal. We thought it would be a good idea to show him his toy that morning before he went to daycare but that backfired because he LOVED it and didn't want to leave for school.

Hunter has already figured out how to climb up the steps by himself. When he gets to the top he stands up and walks across then inches down to slide. Amazing how fast he is learning stuff!

I love his face in this picture. So sweet.

After school, cousin Luke came over to play and we went out to celebrate Hunter's birthday and PawPaw's birthday (two days after Hunter's). The boys are at such fun ages.

We took them to Shogun's, a Japanese grill. Typically the cooks are silly and toss eggs around, make trains out of food, etc, but our cook was a dud. Even still I think the kids loved it. Luke said he had fun and he ate a whole bowl of rice (said it was VERY yummy).

Hunter and PawPaw even got a fruit plate with a big sliced pineapple for birthday desert. Hunter LOVED all of the fruit!!

It is tough being one ;)
