Things Hunter can do this month:
- He has started "baby dancing" and it is so stinking cute. It doesn't really matter what type of music it is, but if he hears it he starts bouncing up and down.
- He has discovered cabinet doors and gets into everything if we leave him too long.
- He loves any type of ball. In fact, little people, animals, and blocks are likely to get thrown like a ball at any given point. You have to be ready to catch :) I must say, he does really well throwing stuff too. And takes it very serious!
- He follows directions (pretty good anyways). You can point and ask him to go get his ball, or to bring you something and he normally does it. If you tell him to go tell Missy hi, he will walk to the back door to talk to her.
- He still has only said MaMa and DaDa, but there are words/sounds we think he knows. When we show him deer he makes a distinct "d" sound. Ugh...the brainwashing has already started..haha! When he gets his ball he makes a distinct "b" sound.
- We started brushing his teeth (because we got in trouble from the dentist....oops) and he loves it!
- Hunter can give you kisses (open baby mouth kisses).
- He is becoming really clingy. In the mornings he either wants Mommy or Daddy and will cling to us and not go to the other. Once he gets going though he is back to his normal self.
- He has started being silly in the evenings and will roll on the ground and flop around everywhere. If one of us lays on the ground with him he loves climbing and laying on us. The other night he walked up to my head and would sit on it, then lay down, roll off and start laughing. Then he would do it all over again.
I was a little worried about this legs because he is really bow legged and drags his right foot when he walks. The doctor ensured me that his legs were fine and he would outgrow this. That was great news!! Now we are working on transitioning to milk and away from bottles. Moms out there have any tips??
