18 and counting

Hunter is officially 18 months and counting. That means he is a year and a half. Oh how is my baby boy growing up so fast? :(

Here are his official stats:

Height: 32" - 40%
Weight: 25lb 8oz - 44%
Head: 19.25" - 79%

Maybe he did get his Mommy's stumpy genes after all :) Who knows, but it always fun to guess what he will grow up to be like! For now, everyone still says he is a mix between us, but people are starting to lean more towards Clint.

- Hunter is still wearing size 4 diapers.
- He eats any food that Mommy or Daddy eats. He especially loves beans and anything with cheese (Lord help me....he is just like his Daddy!). And he loves to eat chips but Mommy won't let him because he still chokes on them.
- He is talking up a storm. He can say: Mommy, Daddy, MiMi, PawPaw, Ball, Cat, Dog, Love you (sweetest thing ever), Thank You (second sweetest thing ever), Shoes, No (ugh....just learned that one), More, Milk, Baby (aka pacifier), Football, Deer, and more....
- He can also make a TON of animal noises. He learned a new one this weekend when we went to Bass Pro Shop with MiMi and O'ma (the bear growl). I think of all the places I have ever taken him, he loves Bass Pro the most. He ran from spot to spot to spot pointing at the animals, and even remembered where the fish were.
- Hunter LOVES to play catch and is obsessed with any type of ball. When we watch TV it either has to be the Backyardigans, Hunting shows, or Football. Mommy totally gets outvoted with TV now.
- Hunter is a dancing machine. He now has a spin move where he spins in circles, then gets dizzy and thinks it is soooooo funny so he does it again! Sometimes he gets so dizzy that he falls down. It is hilarious!
- He is officially tall enough to get into EVERYTHING! He opens all of our drawers and doors. Truthfully he isn't too bad. You just don't realize everything you keep in your drawers until little hands reach up there (like our extra razor blades). I am a little worried because he will be able to reach the burners on our stove before too much longer.
- He is still a good sleeper. We put him to bed around 8:30 and he gets up anywhere from 5:30 - 7:30.
- He has been relatively healthy aside from having strep twice in 2 months. We are praying that was a fluke and isn't a sign of things to come (tonsil issues).

Here is the sweet munchkin. He loves his Daddy so much that he always wants to be just like him! When we were getting ready for church, Hunter wanted to put on Clint's boots. He watches him so closely it is amazing. When we were at church, we were standing up singing. I noticed Hunter was doing something funny with his hands, and when I looked at Clint I saw that Clint was popping his knuckles....Hunter was trying to copy him!

All in all, he is a wonderful sweet baby boy. We have always loved him more than life, but now he is so much fun to be around!!
