Cousin Cookie Baking Contest

Two weekends ago, Cousin Luke came in to town to hang out with Grammie and PawPaw. Hunter and I were planning on heading to JCP and found out that Luke and Grammie already beat us there. So we loaded up and headed to JCP. Look at the big boy pushing his cousin around...haha!

After shopping, we packed up and headed to each run our own errands. After nap time, Grammie and Luke came over to play and decorate Christmas cookies. The boys had a blast decorating the cookies and did an excellent job!

The kept fighting over who got to stand on the stool and who got to stand on the chair. They always wanted what the other one had. They got a bit sticky with the icing so I left to go get wipes. And that is when it all happened! HaHa! Grammie gave the boys sprinkles and Hunter got a bit crazy with them. My floor was decorated with pretty green sprinkles. But the boys got the hang of decorating the cookies and they created some masterpieces.

I must say, if they were in a decorating competition, they would have won the best decorated cookies AND the best decorated floor :) It is always fun to have these two boys together!

After cookies, we ate some pizza then packed up to go see the City of Bethlehem. A local church has a drive through scenes that have choirs, hot chocolate, and a series of small stages describing the life of Jesus. Daddy made it home from hunting just in time to join us. So we were CRAMMED into the Corolla with 3 adults and 2 carseats. The idea was wonderful, but we didn't realize we would wait in line for about 2 hours before we actually got to the scenes. All things considered, the boys were wonderful!

Hunter crashed and missed most of it! He eventually woke and loved the live animals (they had horses, donkeys, a zebra, and a camel)

Luke loved the hot chocolate and the horses. Well that was until the horses got really close to his window and then it was over. HaHa!

It was a wonderful weekend!!
