Hunter loved the nativity scene that MiMi has on her table. We knew there was a chance that Hunter would break a piece but he was being very careful. Everyone in the manger including the sheep got a hug and a kiss. It was so sweet!
Then Hunter put EVERYONE inside the manger (including Santa and the Elf).
After carefully cramming everyone inside the manger, Hunter decided he wanted to bring the party elsewhere. Mom and I were rearranging the presents under the tree and just heard the shatter. We looked over and Hunter was walking while hugging the manger (with everyone in it) and the poor ole shepherd had slipped out of the building. Hunter was very sad, but did continue to play with the nativity scene.
So precious because I can remember my brother playing with the same nativity set. If the set survives both Lance and Hunter, it should be obvious that there are truly angels watching over it! :)
Thank goodness I have backup pieces!!! ...guess maybe I should look for more. It is so sweet to watch Hunter play with it...it takes me back many years to when Lance did the same thing.
