Happy New Year

Happy New Year from the Laskoskie Family!

Yes, I know I am late and have not been a great blogger lately. Maybe I should have made that my New Year's Resolution.

We had a wonderful NYE and NY Day just staying close to home. Hunter was NOT a fan of the fireworks or sparklers we bought. Maybe next year :)

The year ended with Hunter doing the following things:

- He is still in a size 4 diaper
- He still only has 8 teeth, but is cutting all 4 molars now
- He weighs around 26 lbs (we know this because he had bronchitis right after Christmas)
- He is talking up a storm. His new words include: play, sit, hide, (ba)nana, grapes, crackers, cookie, ouch, cup, eat, snack, bath, blocks, moose, color, nope, ewwww (I taught him that when Daddy showed him a fake snake), outside, basketball, Santa, and all of his friend's names at school (8 kids), and I am sure more that I am missing. I can't tell you how many times I have thought....I didn't know he could say that!
- Hunter loves anything outside, anything he can throw, anything he can color, and playing with his neighbor friends. I ask him if he wants to go to the girl's house to play and he will grab his stuff and start walking that way. One day he walked me all the way to their door (3 houses down across the street) without me telling him a word.
- Hunter is so silly. He reminds me of his Daddy so often and I love it!
- His favorite songs are: 1) "Ashes ashes" - he sings the abbreviated version so he can fall down more. 2) ABC's - he insists that we play this over and over on his laptop and he sings along 3) Itsy Bitsy Spider - I started singing this to him one day and he did the hand motions. I was amazed. They obviously taught that to him at school.

I could go on for days! We were SO blessed in 2011 and I can't imagine what 2012 has in store for us.
