Sneak preview of Lauran's room

After many discussions and negotiations, I convinced Clint that we needed to paint Lauran's room two-toned AND we needed to add a chair rail. He was not very excited at first, but agreed to do it for his precious daughter.

Lauran -- just so you know, Daddy wouldn't do this for just anyone....he loves you very much!

It started by the boys taping the walls off and measuring where the chair rail will go.

I was a little concerned that they wouldn't get too much done together, especially when I found them laying down on the job...

But look at the great work they did..

The guys "blowing it up" because they were proud of their work :)

Clint said, "oh, this is bright" to which I responded, "welcome to the wonderful world of girls." We couldn't be more thrilled to be entering this world!!!
