Lauran's Two Week Checkup

Well, it happened again....time is just flying by and Lauran had her two week checkup (last week). This angel is growing like a weed! The pediatrician was impressed with her growth.

Lauran's two week status:

Height: 19.25"
Weight: 6lbs 5oz

The doctor didn't print out the percentages for us, but she showed us the growth chart and while she is on the correct curve for her, she was still barely on the charts.

At the two week mark:

1. I am so in love with this precious little girl. It just feels right having her home with us.

2. Even as a second time parent, I still know nothing! I either forgot, blocked it out of my memory, or she is different than Hunter.

3. I am SO thankful for my husband. We have quickly learned how to divide and conqueror and I am not sure how I would manage without him.

4. I still do way more laundry for my babies than I do for Clint and myself.

5. I am still amazed at how much you can accomplish on such little sleep.

6. Baby girl was in premie jammies, but she has already outgrown those because of her length.

7. Lauran is wearing newborn clothes and diapers.

8. Lauran has already increased how much she is eating to 2.5 ounces every 3 hours. And she gets the hiccups all of the time so she MUST be growing.

9. There is nothing on TV during night time feeding hours. Thank goodness for Facebook and Pinterest.

10. Lauran is starting to pick her head up and look around. Nothing sweeter than her looking up and finding me :)

11. Lauran LOVES to sleep on your chest. So hard to get anything done because Mommy LOVES for Lauran to sleep on my chest too.
