About two weeks ago Hunter came home from school and he kept telling me he was cold. While I was cooking dinner he sat in his chair and watch cartoons but wanted me to cover him up with a blanket. The fact that he sat in his chair for more than 5 seconds watching cartoons should have been my first clue that he wasn't feeling well.
That night Hunter woke up with a fever that was about 100. We shipped him off to Grammie's house for the morning and I got him an appointment for that afternoon. When I picked him up for his appointment his fever was just shy of 104. UGH! So I took him to the doctor and of course it was a virus that we couldn't do anything for.
For the next 5 days Hunter's fever would spike at around 103-104 as soon as the tylenol wore off. It was very sad. And even worse, as soon as the tylenol would kick back in, he wanted to get up and play.....no matter what time of night it might be. This then turned into a trip to urgent care where we got a decongestant and antibiotic for baby boy. UGH....Daddy and I were exhausted and joked that God was preparing us for the sleepless nights that were coming up. Little did we know they were coming up SO soon.
