Hunter was an angel!!! He never cried for more than a couple minutes in the car. We only had to stop twice for him on the all day voyage. We stopped other times for gas and bathroom breaks which helped so I could change his diaper, but we didn't have to do anything crazy on his behalf!
Thursday we spent pretty much all day driving. Thursday evening Hunter went to sleep, but of course not until after he said his prayers (see below) and we ordered pizza and played dominoes in our hotel room.
Friday morning we all got up and ate breakfast. Then we headed to meet Emily and Robert at Emily's hotel and then we were off to the beach. I think Hunter loved the beach. HeHe....Daddy made him a wedge in the sand that we covered up with a towel and he just lounged there all day. Hunter was smarter the Mommy and Daddy because he was covered in sun screen and stayed in the shade all day. Mommy and Daddy ended up looking like lobsters. But it was so relaxing to be out at the beach. Something about the white sand is so perfect to me!
After a long day at the beach the boys took a much needed nap :) So sweet!!
The next day was the wedding. The guys the went golfing and Erin and Hunter and I went down to Destin and went shopping. We tried to avoid the rain by eating at a spot over-looking the beach and it was gorgeous! We were so fried that we didn't really want to get out in the sun again, but we were kicking ourselves for not bringing our bathing suits because it was so pretty! The wedding was that evening and it turned out really pretty. Here are some of the pictures from the wedding.
We are exhausted from the trip back, but everything went well. I am learning that every day is what you make of it. I am so blessed that we got to make the trip with an awesome couple who were very patient with the time it took to get Hunter ready. We were surrounded by great friends and a wonderful view, so life was good!

I see Hunter already has control of the remote...such a little man! ha! The picture of the three of you at the wedding in front of the ocean is awesome. :o)
