Fishing Tournament #1

The fishing tournament season has officially started and the guys did well in the first tournament of the season. They have one more on Lake Conroe this weekend and then the bigger tournament on Lake Sam Rayburn the following weekend.

Hopefully the good luck continues!

We got the good news call from Daddy saying he caught a fish that he was going to weigh-in. This is Hunter and I waiting for Daddy to bring his fish up :)

After PawPaw and Daddy went back out to fish we took a short detour for some bluebonnet pictures. On the 3 minute drive (or maybe 5, but not long) Hunter fell asleep. All things considered we got some decent pictures.

(Yes, we bribed him by letting him throw rocks)

Then it was off to lunch, nap time, and back to the tournament to watch Daddy weigh-in another fish! Hunter helped Daddy weigh-in the fish, but he wouldn't put down his pizza.

Hunter LOVES fishing with Daddy. We went a couple of times (maybe 2-3) with Clint for him to "practice" fish. This past weekend when we were at my parents for Easter, Hunter was telling MiMi ALL about catching fish out of the water, including how big they were, how Missy got in trouble for swimming in the water, and how Clint caught a turtle. And you should be proud Daddy, according to Hunter your fish are always THIS big! :)
