- Sweet baby girl has been sleeping through the night since she was about 10 weeks old. The time change with daylight savings messed her up a little bit but on average she goes to sleep around 8:30 and gets up around 6:30. Such a blessing to Mommy!
- Lauran weighs 13lbs 4oz now, is in size 2 diapers, and is graduating to size 3-6 clothes and sleepers. 3 month onesies are still fine but anything 1 piece has to be 3-6 months.
- She has officially found her hands and she loves how they taste. She is not a huge pacifier baby. She sucks on it long enough to calm her down then spits it out. So I am wondering if she is going to find her thumb pretty soon.
- Lauran's head is really flat! I am pretty worried about it. I think it has become that way due to the combination of her sleeping through the night so early and the fact that she hates tummy time. She literally won't lift her head and just cries. Every now and then if Hunter interacts with her she will hold her head up. Daycare is on strict instructions to do LOTS of tummy time and saucer time. I am praying she won't need a helment but I am really afraid if it doesn't improve in the next 3 weeks that we might have to talk about it.
- Lauran loves the bumbo chair and loves music. So when Mommy needs to get anything done, Lauran gets to sit in front of the tv and watch music videos on CMT. She will sit there forever. Hunter loves to sit with her and talk to her :) So sweet!
- It seems like Lauran wants to talk so badly and every now and then we hear her sweet voice. I imagine it won't be long before she starts chatting up a storm.
- Lauran loves the bath time. Her and Hunter take baths together and loves to help me wash her feet. He is on feet duty only because he likes to scrub, pour water, and splash....but she better not do it back to him. She splashed her foot one day and it got in his eye and he told me to tell her no. HaHa! And so it starts!
- She is smiling like crazy now and loves to stick out her tongue! So cute because she will copy whatever you are doing. Daddy and Hunter (ok, and Mommy) love to say silly things and make silly faces to make Lauran smile. I bet she will be laughing soon!
- We are competing to see what words she will say first, Mommy says "MaMa", Daddy says "DaDa" and Hunter says "Bubba" :) Hunter said DaDa first, so we shall see what Lauran says.
- She is truly our pride and joy, along with Hunter, and really makes us feel like a REAL family. (Clint said, something about being able to say "kids" just makes it feel like we are a real family now.)
