Record: 9 weeks - the longest he has EVER been healthy in his life!!!
It is so sad, and yet so exciting, to be able to announce that Hunter has been healthy for a whole 9 weeks since his surgery. He did have a 24hr tummy bug in there but I don't really count that because the surgery could not have had any impact on him getting that! SO....9 whole weeks. Even after Hunter was first born, he had a double ear infection at 6 weeks old. So this is literally the longest he has ever been healthy. What better way to celebrate than monkey pancakes for my monkey?
We knew we were making the right decision for our angel but it is always nice to see results after such a painful surgery and recovery period.
Not only has been healthy for 9 weeks (which means he also managed to avoid the RSV his sister got from daycare) he also jumped back onto his growing curve which he had fallen off of at his 2 year appointment. The fact that he wasn't gaining weight was a critical factor in our pediatrician sending us back to the ENT. So we are especially happy for his weight gain and overall growth!
Hunter's 2 year stats:
Height: 35" - 67%
Weight: 26lb 13oz - 34%
Head: 19.5" - 70%
Hunter's 2 1/2 year stats:
Height: 37" - 72%
Weight: 30lb - 53%
Head: 19.76" - 73%
We are SO thankful that our little monkey is feeling better, eating better, growing properly, and is still his happy little self.
