No Mommy it is a cross

I have been trying to work with Hunter on his letters and more specifically on how to spell his name. So we drew his name out on a piece of paper and talked about each letter. (Forgive my drawing skills below)

So our conversation went like this:

Mommy: H like a Horsey
Hunter: And like Hunter
Mommy: Yes baby that is right. U like Umbrella
Hunter: Brella?
Mommy: N like a Nose
Hunter: {pointing} like Hunter's nose, like Mommy's nose, like Sissy's nose....
Mommy: Yes, and T like a Tree
Hunter: NO MOMMY! That is not like a tree! That is a cross like Jesus.
Mommy: {shocked} You are exactly right. A baby T looks like a cross that Jesus was on. Does Jesus stay on that cross?
Hunter: No Mommy, Jesus got off and is WAY up in the skies {pointing straight up}. He watches me Mommy.
Mommy: {Hugs and kisses galore. What could I have possibly added to that wisdom?} You got it buddy. Jesus is up in the sky in heaven and he watches over all of us and loves us very much......And R is like a Rabbit
Hunter: Hop Hop Hop
Mommy: What does that spell?
Hunter: HUNTER!

I love all of the little teaching moments....especially when he teaches me :)
