It's Hunting Season

It's that time of the year again.....Hunting Season! I had Lauran a shirt made that says "It's hunting season, have you seen my Daddy?" Clint didn't like it, and Lauran didn't either once she realized Daddy was leaving her behind for the weekend to go hunting. :(

Daddy gave her sugars so it was all better!

So when Daddy went off hunting for the weekend, the rest of us made the road trip to MiMi and Pops house! :)

Oh, and he lucky hat too. Ha!

The kids had a blast taking turns pushing each other around in a stroller.

And of course, Uncle Lance brought sucker treats. If he hadn't, O'ma would have!

Then we got the news that Daddy got a "big 'ole buck!" Hunter was SO excited that he was dancing around. I almost started crying because it was so sweet how excited he was for Daddy! He was giving Daddy the thumbs up!

Then it was the long trip back home. Hunter wore Daddy's hat to keep the sun out of his eyes but said Daddy's had was stinky and smelled like sweat. Seriously, how does he know to say stuff like that?

Lauran was knocked out from a weekend full of fun and snuggled with her bunny on the way home.

Hunter was SOOOO excited to see Daddy's big ole buck when he got home. I love how much he loves hunting and his Daddy. I don't get it, but it doesn't matter because it is special to them!

All in all it was a great weekend with family and friends, and even better weekend when Daddy gets the deer he went after!
