7 months

Well the 7 month blog post will have to wait another day but I can tell you that at 7 months Hunter weighed 19lbs. How do I know this? That is right, because we have ANOTHER ear infection. Ugh! This time his nose is constantly running, literally dripping down his face. Poor baby can't breath which means we suck the snot out, which makes him scream, which starts everything all over again. The other joy is that being the nice mother I am (haha) I tried to take the pain away from my little guy by getting a sinus infection myself. Too bad it took nothing away from him and now both Mommy and baby are out for the count. Thank goodness for Daddy!!!!

But it is at times like this when Hunter and I are both tired, both hurting, and both very sleepy that I remind myself that there are some people out there that would give anything to have even these moments back. On labor day a mutual high school friend lost her 1 1/2 year old baby. I can't help but think that she would give anything for one more ear infection, to hear her baby crying at any hour of the night, and then I stop worrying about how bad I feel, count my blessings, and thank the Lord for all of the wonderful people and moments He has graciously given to me!
