Pre-Thanksgiving Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. It was a relatively quiet and uneventful Thanksgiving and we were thankful for that. Our holiday started the weekend before Thanksgiving when we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Trachier side of the family. Once again I had another sinus infection and was completely useless for the entire trip. Mom and I had all of these great things planned and none of them got done. The only good thing was everyone got to spend a lot of quality time with Hunter because all I wanted to is sleep. O'ma cooked us swiss steak for our "Thanksgiving" dinner and it was very yummy! Here are some of the highlights from that trip...

Hunter has to hold on to the rocker when O'ma rocks him....I guess he already knows O'ma very well ;)

Hunter got to chill with Pops.

Being a sweetie pie with Aunt B.

Mommy somehow forgot all of Hunter's warm clothes and it happened to be FREEZING that weekend so MiMi had to make a pit stop and pick up some warm clothes for Hunter. Hunter was very thankful for that!

We got to go see Mr. Dwight and wish him a very happy Thanksgiving. He told us that he thinks Hunter looks like he did when he was a baby. :) No blood relation there which makes that funny but we would be very proud of Hunter if he grows up to be a great man like Mr. Dwight.

Last year when we went around the group saying what we were thankful for I said I was thankful that our family was growing from 2 to 3 sometime in May. It is so hard to believe that it was a year ago that we told our family we were pregnant. In fact, I don't remember who it was but one of my family members asked me if I was going to be thankful for the same thing this year as I was last year. I said yes, I am going to be very thankful for Hunter this year just like I was last year :) No more babies for a while....Hunter is all we can handle right now!

As always we are very thankful for our family and wish so badly that we all lived closer!! In fact, that is part of my nightly prayers :) Britt and Lance - don't be alarmed if I start sending you job applications from the Conroe/Houston area soon.....haha! (I am only halfway joking)
