8 Months Old

Today our precious baby is 8 months old :) And guess what...we found a tooth. I know that sounds funny that we found a tooth but it seems to be coming in at a random location - his top left eye tooth (or so we are guessing). We knew he was working on his bottom teeth and we can feel the bump and see the white line but I had no idea he was working on a top tooth. I put him down on the changing table today and he started laughing and I saw clear as day a white tooth. Already cut through white tooth. No wonder this poor baby hasn't been sleeping good. We may have a whole mouth full of teeth at once.

Other things Hunter has done this month:
- Hunter had his first sleep over (without Mommy). He was a perfect angel and I think it was much harder on me than it was on him!
- Hunter started crawling. He is all over the place and into everything. It was so amazing how fast he figured everything out.
- Hunter can "run" in his jeep now. He follows me all around the kitchen, can turn corners, and go backwards.
- We had to lower his crib mattress because he has started pulling up (see video below).
- He is fascinated by all things technology and all things that are not his - especially Mommy's computer and Daddy's remote.
- He has found the outlets. As soon as he gets in his jeep he drives straight for them. We had to plug them up!
- He can now sit up by himself from a crawling position. I have tried and tried to get it on video but of course he won't ever do it while I am filming.
- His favorite game is still "peek-a-boo." It just cracks him up every time. He plays it while in his walker now too. He will go where he can't see you, then barrel around the corner and just crack up when he sees you. Then he will back up and do it again. It is so funny!
- He still has crazy hair. In fact, I think it gets longer and more out of control each day.
- Hunter had another ear infection so we go see an ENT next week and I am taking him to see a new pediatrician tomorrow.
- He loves his baby food now and eats every bit of it EXCEPT peas. When you feed him peas he will eat the first couple of bites but after each bite he literally shivers. After two or three bites max he is done. He will curl his bottom lip under and not let anything else in.
- Hunter got to celebrate his first Christmas and meet Santa for the first time :)

Every day our angel captures our heart even more. We are amazed by how much he is growing and learning and we pray that we can provide him with everything he needs to succeed in life. Hunter you are our miracle! Every day is better with you in it!
