Well we have had a couple of rough nights with Hunter but it all makes sense because we took him to the doctor's office AGAIN yesterday and he has a double ear infection. We are so aggravated with the doctor's office because we always catch it before it goes to his ears but they tell us it is just a cold and he has to ride it out. Then a week or so later when we bring him back because he isn't any better....SURPRISE....it went to his ears. In less than 7 months (because he got his first ear infection at 6 weeks) he has now had 6 ear infections. UGH!!! To top angry Daddy off (Clint took him to the doctor this time) the doctor was asking Clint what medicine they gave him last time, how many ear infections Hunter has had, and if they have ever given him breathing treatments. They told him that they went paperless so it is hard to look up a patient's history. I don't know what you think but the patient history would seem pretty important to me, especially when we are there EVERY WEEK!!
Needless to say we are trying to find a new doctor's office. They are very nice people up at that office but don't seem to be fighting to get our son better. But they did refer us to an ENT so we will be taking Hunter to get checked out in two weeks with the possibility of tubes. That scares us a bunch because it is a surgery but I know it is a common one and we have got to get this baby feeling better!
Can you tell it was a rough night? Look at that hair....
After Daddy brought him home from the doctor's office, he got to stay with me while I tried to get some work done.
It is so amazing how happy Hunter is despite all of the issues he has had! Guess he doesn't know any different but we hope to change that immediately!!
Sweet Baby Boy we are trying really hard to get you feeling better!!! We love you!
Hang in there, you will get that precious baby feeling better soon!!!
