Hunter has 2 teeth now. He has a tooth on the top left (not sure if it is his eye tooth or the tooth next to his center front tooth). He also has his bottom center right tooth. Random...I know!!
Here is one of my attempts to get a picture...
He is also working on the "matching" top tooth. We can see the white line but the tooth hasn't actually broken through yet.
Hunter spent his "last trip" in his baby car seat. Can you tell it was time to get a bigger one??
Cousin Luke came over and he got to play with Hunter, Austin, Lilly, Emerson. Their favorite thing to do was to play chase with Austin (that was until Luke fell, then that game wasn't fun anymore.) The toy that was the biggest hit was Hunter's cell phone. Luke LOVED it. PawPaw kept calling Luke over and over so Luke said he was going to turn the phone off. He cracks me up!! We were searching all over the house to find the phone at one point and we found it....in Luke's backpack...HAHA!! The boys are already having so much fun together. I think Lori and I are going to have our hands full when they are a little older and play together!!
These boys love each other!
HAHA....what are cousins for...
"Sharing" the remote control
Hunter helped Daddy hang his rods in the garage. He even picked out one that he thought he would like to keep. Ugh....it has already started....HAHA!
Then the sickness began :( Hunter had a fever for about 6 days that hovered around 102. It was the most terrible thing ever.
When I took him to the doctor they had to prick his finger to draw blood. From that they determined his white blood cell count was way too high. They were afraid he had pneumonia. To continue with the test they had to draw blood from his arm with an IV. They even had a baby band to tie on his arm to find his baby vein. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! After that they gave him an antibiotic shot.
Even after all of that pricking and prodding I could still get my baby to smile.
The next day we took him to get chest x-rays in the morning. We were so thankful those came back clear!!! No pneumonia, no strep, no flu, so we had to check his white blood cell count again. Yes, that meant another finger prick to draw blood. The first time his count was 23,000 when it should have been 15,000. The next day (after the antibiotic shot) his count had dropped to 19,500 so they felt it was helping him. So, they gave him 3 more antibiotic shots and prescribed an oral antibiotic for the next 10 days.
Thankfully two days after those antibiotic shots Hunter's fever finally broke for good!! The blood cultures came back normal so the doctors are chalking it up to a virus. We are just happy that he is starting to feel better!!!!
What a tough little fellow!! So glad that he is feeling better!
