Here we go again....

Well, here we go again. Seems like just yesterday we were visiting the ENT to find out if Hunter needed tubes in his ears and now we are back. It was actually about a year and half ago, but it seems all too recent! Hunter has been on an antibiotic every month this year, and really hasn't had a stretch longer than two months of being healthy. After looking back at his charts, his pediatrician recommended we go back to the ENT and talk about removing his adenoids and his tonsils.

Hunter was such a great sport at the doctor's office. Daddy showed him the light on the chair and even tricked him to sit in the chair all by himself.....at least until the doctor came in :)

The doctor came in and it took her all of 10 minutes to tell us that Hunter needs both his adenoids AND tonsils out. Typically they don't remove the tonsils until kids are at least 3, but his were so bad she said there was no point in putting it off a year. We are nervous at the thought of him having to go through another surgery, but thankful to hear such a definitive answer! We are praying this will give him the relief he deserves! The bad news is her first available appointment is August 13th (yes 10 days before I am due), and the surgery has a two week recover period with one night hospital stay. So we are praying for a cancellation or just guidance/peace on when to schedule the surgery.

As always...family and friends have come out of the wood work to help comfort and destress us. And O'ma even sent these beautiful flowers which definitely brightened my day and continue to brighten up my house :) Blessed!
