Thinking back to my wedding day and all of the preparation leading up to it, I think one of the most exciting parts was going dress shopping with my Mom. I can imagine that for some, searching for the right dress might be a chore, but my Mom and I had a blast. I will never forget the look on my Mom's face when I walked out in "the" dress....in fact she started crying :) I have so many special memories tied up in that dress, so I can't imagine cutting my wedding dress up......but that is exactly what my Mom did for her first grandaughter, Lauran Machele.

I know her smile will be just as big when she sees baby Lauran get baptized in this dress, made from her wedding dress.
This dress will forever be filled with love and special memories, and I feel so blessed that MiMi is passing that down to my daughter. That has to be the sweetest thing a MiMi could do for her grandaughter!
