At her two month appointment her stats were:
Height: 21.25" - 17%
Weight: 9lbs 12oz - 29%
Head: 14.49" - 11%
At two months:
- Lauran is really noticing things now. She will look at you when you talk to her.
- She has started to smile a lot more! Like a real smile, not just gas. SO SWEET!
- She found her hand. It is so funny to see her watch her hand as she twists it around. She also puts her hand in her mouth now. Sometimes I think it is because she is hungry and sometimes it is just because.
- She is an angel baby and has started sleeping through the night. She went a week sleeping through the night (9pm - 6am), then she went through a week where she was waking up one time around 3am, and now she has slept through the night again the past two nights. Since this didn't happen with Hunter until he was 9 1/2 months old, we are really excited and thankful!
- October 18th was the first night Lauran slept in her crib by herself and everyone slept much better. Lauran could stretch out and Mommy and Daddy didn't hear all of her squeaky noises.
- Lauran is a super lucky girl. She has had two sleepovers at Grammie's house (once when Hunter had his surgery and the second when Hunter and I got the nasty tummy bug). Hunter didn't get his first sleepover until he was around 7 months old.
- She is wearing size 1 diapers
- We switched her to soy formula
At Lauran's two month appointment she was diagnosed with GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease - acid reflux) and URI (Upper respiratory infection). The pediatrician gave Lauran Zantac for the acid reflux. Since she was really congested, the pediatrician wouldn't give her the 8 week shots. We went back when she was 11 weeks old to get her shots and she weighed 11lb 7oz.
Next scheduled appointment is when she is 4 months old :)
