This is how he rolls

This is just how Hunter rolls :) ..... just like his Daddy!

Hunter is 2 years 9 months old, tear, and is SO much fun. He talks and reasons things so well. He knows when we are being silly and teasing and knows when we are being serious. It is so much fun to watch him interact and play with other kids, love on his sister, and just watch him entertain himself.

Some things he has said that have made us laugh:

"Mommy, I am still sleepy. I need to snuggle with the couch."

"Hey I got mulch on my shoes. I think it is from the playground." {seriously, what 2 year old says that}

"EWWW...Sissy tooted. You say excuse me Sissy."

"I am a big boy, I can do it myself" {about everything, pottying, getting his own spoon, drinking from a big boy cup with no lid, you name it!}

"My lake, my lake. We share, we share. We share with Daddy, and Sissy, and Lukie, and...." {every time we pass the lake}

"Daddy, we're going to beat you" {every day he wants to beat Daddy home from school / work....unfortunately he wins a lot}

"I run fast like a deer." {as he runs as fast as he can down the hallway and back. You know he is running fast if his chicken wing shows up. HaHa}

"I just can't wait to be king" {he LOVES Lion King}

"HEY - that moon is out. The sun is up so the moon needs to go night night" {he notices EVERYTHING}

I could go on and on because he makes us laugh daily. He has a new found love for food. We don't know if he is just getting more adventurous or his surgery changed how he tastes food but he now eats foods he never would before like carrots, green beans, broccoli (trees), sauteed onions and peppers, steak, etc. It is a nice change to not have to fight and bribe him to eat every night.

Daddy has spoiled him rotten and some nights as a special treat Hunter gets a chocolate milkshake, just like Daddy.

Daddy is also sad because Hunter goes to bed like a big boy now. He gives everyone sugars then Daddy tucks him in bed. No more snuggle time at night with Daddy :( While we are so proud that our Bubba goes to sleep so easily and stays in bed like a big boy Daddy is really missing snuggling with his baby boy. We are extremely thankful that Hunter is so healthy and growing as he should but it breaks my heart that it is going by so fast :(
