Well last time Clint approached this subject he was disappointed that I told him Hunter could not go hunting with him until he was at least 5 and even that was being generous! There just isn't much good that goes on at the deer lease (in my opinion) but hearing how much Clint enjoyed growing up at this same deer lease with his Dad would make anyone smile. Well that isn't entirely fair. There is a lot of good that comes from the deer lease, it is just the stories that never made it back to his Mom that have come out now after all these years that makes a new Mommy like me nervous!
So Clint tried to take a new approach....he had Hunter ask me if he could go hunting with Daddy....
Mommy....what about NOW? If I am big enough to wear Daddy's gear I am big enough to go hunting right?
But Mommy, look how happy it makes me....

Hunter, one day you will be big enough to go hunting with your Daddy! I pray that Daddy can teach you as much as PawPaw taught him and that you both come home to Mommy safe and sound every trip (without hiding too many details from Mommy)!!
