Christmas Translations

When you talk about Christmas at our house, you might need a little translation book. Hunter has named pretty much everything in his own style:

1. Boots - Hunter calls their stocking boots.

2. Christmas - Christmas is not quite what you might think - he actually calls Santa "Christmas" half the time he sees him.

3. Carrot - Carrot is Hunter's snowman. After talking about how you can use a carrots for a snowman's nose, he named his snowman "Carrot." Sissy loves him too!

4.  Randall - Randall is Hunter's reindeer who checks with Santa every night or day to tell Santa how Hunter and Lauran are acting. While Hunter LOVES his Sister very much, he is already quick to point out to Randall when he thinks Sissy was being bad. HaHa. Hunter tries to find Randall the second he walks in the door from school. If he doesn't immediately see him, he walks around the house saying "Randall, where are you?"

5. Candy Candies - aka Candy Canes. We have corrected him a ton of times but he insists it is "Candy Candies" and it is so cute that we just let him say it now :)

And just a side note, I am not sure if they have just been having Christmas music parties at school for the past month or what but Hunter knows ALL of the Christmas songs. Even ones that I wouldn't have expected. Jingle Bell, We wish you a Merry Christmas, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the red nosed reindeer, Holly Jolly Christmas, Santa Claus is coming to town, and the list goes on and on....
