Laskoskie Love: Happy to be 4 months old

Baby Lauran is happy to be 4 months old!

Her 4 month stats are:

Height: 24" - 41%

Weight: 13lb 8oz - 47.75%

Head: 15.75" - 23%

We are still monitoring her head pretty closely because it is very flat. At the time the doctor says there is no need for immediate concern but if she hasn't improved by her 6 month appointment then we may have to look into it further.

- Lauran is laughing and smiling and cooing up a storm. It is SO adorable!!

- She loves to sit up now. If you have her reclined she tries to sit up by herself but is not quite strong enough yet. But because she loves to sit up she has started...

Eating dinner with us in her big girl chair and sits at the big kid table at school too

She takes a bath sitting up now too, but she wasn't too sure of it at first. HaHa I love this funny face!

And she still LOVES sitting and watching her country music videos. It is amazing because she will not watch cartoons or regular tv, but if you turn on country music videos she is glued!

- We haven't started eating solid foods yet. The doctor said since Lauran is sleeping good, there is no real need to introduce foods until she is 6 months old. So unless she shows signs that she needs heavier stuff in her system we are just going to keep things simple and keep rocking the bottle.

- Speaking of sleeping, she is still our angel baby. We put her to bed around 8:30 and some morning I have to wake her up at 7. If she wakes up on her own it is normally around 6:30am. Such a blessing!

- Baby girl got her first double ear infection. She just kept waking up every 20ish mins fussing so we knew something had to be wrong and had a strong suspicion that it was her ears.

- She still wears a size 2 diaper and is wearing 6 months clothes (although the 6 month jammies are already getting too short).

- She loves the bouncer and the walker. We tell her she is a nosey rosey just like brother because she loves being able to look around and see everything.

- And she LOVES her big brother. She is so in tune to what he is doing and he can always make her smile. He loves playing on the ground with her and showing her how to make her toys make noise. Hunter keeps asking us to let her sleep with him but we told him she is not quite old enough yet. Sometimes when we are putting jammies on we let them snuggle together. Hunter LOVES it!
